do over the winter & spring breaks? Do they like to explore their world
and try new things? If so, then our winter and spring camps are for
them! Kids will explore the world around them through hands-on
investigations and fun experiments. They’ll study the plants and wild
life in the preserve and make great science craft projects.

Behind the Scenes Tours
Have you ever wondered how you take
care of an alligator or what a turtle eats? Come visit the Amazing
Animals Exhibit at Tanglewood Preserve and get a special one-hour behind
the scenes tour of the exhibit. Help feed the animals and learn about
their care.

amount of free science
programs for libraries. We come to you! Libraries can call to
inquire about the following free workshops:
Live Animal Demonstration -
See and touch
reptiles, amphibians, and mammals. Students explore different animals
groups and learn about the diversity of living things and learn about
what adaptations animals have to survive.
Endangered Species -
Learn about extinct,
endangered and protected wildlife. Rare and unique confiscated pelts,
teeth, and dozens of other specimens are the centerpiece of this eye
opening workshop. |
