Can’t make it to us? That’s no problem! CSTL will send one of our certified science educators to your school or organization to conduct a workshop or presentation!
We offer two different outreach programs:
Animal Show
NGSS Standards: LS1.A; LS1.D
Get an up close look at five animals (reptiles, invertebrates, mammals), join in an interactive discussion about their adaptations, and learn about the diversity of living things.
Fossil Discovery
NGSS Standards: LS4.A; SEP.7; LS1.A
How do scientists investigate the creatures of the ancient past? In this program, students get an interactive and up close look at fossils, then create fossils of their own.
Rates
A 1-hour program is $300.
A 2-hour combination of programs (e.g. two 1-hour animal shows, or one animal show and one fossil program) is $500.
A 3+ hour combination of programs is $700.
We charge an additional $150 if the travel is more than 10 miles from our facility.
