The Center for Science Teaching & Learning (CSTL) provides field trip and outreach program experiences for groups of all sizes, ages, abilities and needs.
If you are a teacher, we understand that many schools have particular curriculum/assessment needs and we can tailor any of our programs to help your students get a better grasp of scientific concepts.
Field Trips
The Dinosaur Museum experience is a perfect field trip program to learn about animal adaptations by showcasing extinct dinosaurs next to real-life animals! CSTL offers a variety of other programs pertaining to natural sciences.
Can’t make it here? No problem! CSTL will send one of our qualified science educators to your school or organization to conduct a workshop or presentation!
CSTL is not just a great place for students to learn, play, and engage with science and nature. We also strive to assist corporations, businesses, and nonprofit organizations nationwide in their efforts to provide S.T.E.M. educational programs to individuals in their communities.
CNN business reported that 8 out of the top 10 jobs in the US are STEM-related. Preparing our young people for STEM-related careers and college is a challenging task. Let us help!
Our experienced staff of scientists and educators at CSTL makes this the perfect place to bring your class, school, special needs group, scout troop, home school class, senior center or even employees on a corporate retreat. Many schools and groups have come together to enjoy CSTL in a one-of-a-kind field trip experience. The facilities, live animals and trails make this the perfect location for learning.
Field trips can be one hour, two hours or even a whole day! Experiences here can include a tour of the grounds or the dinosaur exhibit, exciting science and animal demonstrations, and educational workshops. Feel free to let us know if your group would like to eat lunch while here, we have indoor and outdoor spaces available.
