WHAT’S LURKING IN THE WOODS THIS HALLOWEEN?
The Center for Science Teaching and Learning (CSTL) celebrates Halloween with SpookyFest each year. How much do you love Halloween? Be a part of our SpookyFest family and sign up to help.
To volunteer, fill out the online volunteer registration form below. Spooky Fest 2023 takes place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the following weekends: October 6-8, 13-15, 20-22 & 27-29. (RAIN OR SHINE!). NEW DATE ADDED 11/4
Volunteers are needed from 5:30pm – 10:00pm at CSTL located at 1450 Tanglewood Preserve in Rockville Centre, Long Island. Volunteers must be 16 years or older. Volunteers under 18 must bring a completed Minor Volunteer Parent Consent Form: click here for consent form.

There are several positions:
- Dino Woods-Guides, through our robotic dinosaur woods – no zombies, no one jumps out.
- Enchanted Walk – Guides, colorfully dressed in this beautiful walk
- Princess and Prince- to stay by our new coach and take pictures with children
- Merry Monsters-characters to greet the children, we provide the costumes
- Face Painting- we provide the pictures and paint to use
- Fortune Telling – we will help you to predict the “future”
- Glow Tent – guides through this glow in the dark attraction
- Crafts- help the kids do fun Halloween crafts
- Entry table- check in and distribute tickets
